This is Oregon’s Yosemite and a must see if the park is open. You’ve heard about it, you’re here, If you haven’t been there, you better go.
Spring Creek
That’s the thing with Rivers in the Northwest, there are many streams and rivers that flow crystal clear, and exude an aura of fresh and untouched. The river bubbles up from the ground about 7 miles from Collier State park.
Clearwater Falls
The name says it all. The Falls on the spring fed Clearwater River only have a drop of 30 feet or so but how spetacular it is! While you’re there be sure to go to the top to check out the pool that feeds it.
Klamath Lake
This lake is great for a drive around which usually takes the better part of an afternoon. It is easily accessible from Lakeshore drive right here in town.

Klamath Trails
For quick in town hikes I recommend Moore Mountain, but there are really too many trails to choose from, so it might be best to consult the Klamath Trail Alliance on this topic. Check out the link below and look at the Trail Systems link on their page.
The Ledge
Located downtown at 369 6th Street. The Ledge is like an independently owned REI but with better products. They are a full service outdoor store, dedicated to providing top quality equipment, personal service and knowledge.
Groceries
Holiday Market
Never heard of them? Neither had we until they built this one in 2019. Its a surprisingly nice little store with a really good Deli and fine shopping experience. Located Downtown. 211 N. 8th Street Klamath Falls

Albertsons
Albertsons is, well Albertsons. They are mostly the same and this one is really not any different. Its well lit clean and well managed. This location has a Starbucks inside and I think they have a pretty good seafood counter. Located at 5500 S. 6th Street https://www.albertsons.com

Known as Sherm’s or Thunderbird, Sherms is a local southern Oregon discount market, with Locations in Klamath Falls, Medford, and Roseburg. Its a no frills place with some of the best prices in town. https://www.shermsmarkets.com
Natural Grocers
According to their website their purpose is “To support the health and well being of our communities.” We go there to get our vegetables and fruit most of the time. Centrally Located at Washburn and S. 6th Street.
Fred Meyer
A Fred Meyer Store is practically a fixture in the Pacific Northwest. From groceries to clothing, electronics to Jewelry Fred Meyer has everything. This store also has a gas station with competitive fuel prices, and several Tesla Superchargers. It’s located just down the street on Shasta way.
Grocery Outlet
If you are not familiar with Grocery Outlet, you should pay a visit. There is an ever rotating stock of new products usually at deep discounts. We like the wine selection and they often have Bordeaux and Merlot wine from France, Chile, New Zealand, and California, among other places.
Eat and Drink
Rodeos Pizza
Pronounced Roe-Dee-Oh’s as in “This isn’t our first rodeo” as opposed to Rodeo drive (The way I thought it was pronounced) They make pretty good NY Style Pizza and to tell the truth It’s better than some Pizza I’ve had in NY. So, not the absolute best pizza ever, but defenitly the best in town.
Thai Orchid.
A longtime local favorite with consistent good reviews. When I think of Thai restaurants, even when I’m out of town I compare them with this one
The Falls
A great Beer Garden with Great views of lower Klamath Lake. There are two food trucks to go with Beers from across the region on tap.
Ruddy Duck
Open for both dine-in and take-out, they offer terrific food and a fantastic view of the Arnold Palmer designed golf course, especially when seated outdoors.
Nibbly’s
Nibbly’s excellence in food and service has earned them Rand McNalley’s Best of the Road award, and they consistently get good reviews on Trip advisor, Yelp and Facebook
Girasol Mexican Restaurant & Cantina
Girasol ie: Sunflower
They have pretty decent food and a good solid Margarita. The outdoor sidewalk dining is a definite to do in the summer, but you might want to call ahead because sometimes it gets filled up when its busy. 541-887-2282

Brevada Brewhouse
The Brewhouse has a very nice atmosphere to have your morning Joe. They also have beer and wine available. select From their “After hours” Menu
The Daily Bagel
A great place to sit and watch people on the street with your Coffee and Bagel. My favorite is the Jalapeno Bagel with cream cheese.
The Green Blade Bakery
The Green Blade is a family-run artisan bakery that specializes in naturally leavened breads. They also serve pretty good coffee and have a nice comfortable seating arrangement.
